Snapshot of Saltaire

Happy hump day!

Life has been so hectic lately I feel as if the days have been literally whizzing past me. I wake up, blink and the day is done which is my explanation for lack of posts recently. There have been so many things getting in my way lately; the weather has been amazing, my mum is here to visit, I’ve been trying to sort my PT course and my blog hasn’t unfortunately been on top of my to do list.

Last weekend I had a bit of a chilled one, which is amazing for me because I feel like outside of the gym and work I don’t have time to do anything but I did go to Saltaire which was pretty beautiful. Saltaire is in Bradford, Yorkshire and about a half an hour drive from my house. It’s a Victorian village and is also a UNESCO Heritage site thanks to its original Salts Mill and worker’s village. Joe and I wandered around the mill which has been turned into a really funky book shop, cafe, homeware shop and art gallery, we walked along the canal and generally just chilled about.

This trip so impromptu I didn’t even bring my camera- I never have my bloggers head on these days. BUT, I thought it would be nice to post about it anyway and include completely unedited photos taken on my phone. The world of
